Qingyuan Huang, MD (Thoracic Oncology)

Dr. Huang currently is a PhD candidate of a joint program between Harvard Medical School and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He earned his Medical Doctor degree from Sun Yat-sen University in 2012. His research interest focuses on minimally invasive thoracic surgery, multidisciplinary therapy, and novel therapies (including targeted therapy and immunotherapy) of both lung cancer and esophageal cancer.

He has been devoted to clinical and translational studies of thoracic oncology, and published more than 10 peer-reviewed, SCI-indexed articles as first author in journals such as CHEST and J Thorac Oncol. Dr. Huang's work was also invited to be presented in the 15th World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC 2013) in Sydney, 14th World Congress of the International Society for Disease of the Esophagus (ISDE 2014) in Vancourver, and in the 13th World Conference of OESO (OESO 2015) in Monaco. He was invited as a reviewer of journals, such as Ann Surg Oncol, Oncotarget.
