Dr. Arora is presently working as a Consultant Radiologist and Research-and-Audit Lead in the Department of Radiology at the Western Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, UK. Having qualified from India with a Gold Medal in MBBS, MD Radiodiagnosis and DNB Radiodiagnosis, Dr Arora served as a teaching faculty at the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi, initially as Assistant Professor and later as Associate Professor until 2015. During this period he undertook fellowships in UK, Seoul, Hungary and Montreal in the subspecialty of gastro-abdominal Imaging. He became the first Indian radiologist to receive the European Diploma in Radiology in 2011, and was conferred the prestigious Prof. VP Lakhanpal Gold Medal for his academic contributions to radiology by the Indian College of Radiology and Imaging. He is a corresponding fellow of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR), and has also served as the National Representative of ESGAR in India until 2015. Apart from numerous publications in various medical journals, he has to his credit 2 textbooks, 1 book chapter, and more than 100 online peer-reviewed publications in EURORAD - the e-learning tool of the European Society of Radiology. He has presented his work at various national and international conferences and has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades including the Summa Cum Laude (ISVIR-SIR 2013), Magna Cum Laude (ESGAR 2012), Cum Laude (ESGAR 2015), Certificates of Merit (ESR 2011, ESR 2013, ESGAR 2014, IRIA 2015), and Dr Ashok Mukherjee Award (IRIA 2015).
