Dr. Guo-Hong Cai, obtained his MD at the Fourth Military Medical University (2013). Now he is the PhD candidate in the Department of Neurobiology and Collaborative Innovation Centre for Brain Science, Fourth Military Medical University. His research focuses on the mechanism of pain related anxiety and depression in the prefrontal cortex and the amygdala. In particular, he tries to clarify the role of metabotropic glutamate receptor 5(mGluR5) in the process of anxiety and depression by combining neural, pharmacological, neuroimaging and genetic techniques. His major work was published in Pain Physician, Front Neuroanat, Am J Transl Res, Inflammation, etc.
